What are the objectives of this introductory session?

By the end of this session, participants will be able to introduce themselves in Spanish and say where they are from. The session also provides a chance to get to know the instructor, experience the teaching style, and receive an overview of the structure and approach of the 10-week online course.

Who is teaching the course?

The course will be taught by a native Spanish speaker with experience teaching Spanish and other languages, currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages. Taster Spanish session covering the basics, plus a brief overview of a 10-week online beginner course starting January 2026.

In this taster session, designed for beginners, you will get your first taste of spoken Spanish. By the end of the class, you will be able to introduce yourself in Spanish and say where you are from.

The session will also include a brief presentation of a 10-week online Spanish course for absolute beginners, starting in January 2026, with time for questions and further details.

If you have no prior experience learning Spanish, this session is a great place to start. If you're interested in the full course as someone with some knowledge of the language you're also welcome to this session.
