<p>The association Hint.wien is happy to present an evening of  highly intersectional queer centered poetry, storytelling and song in Bengali, English, German, Greek and Punjabi to explore the power of poetic intuition.</p><p>Community poet JG Danso of Villa Vida Cafe and friends will read works in Bengali, English, German, Greek and Punjabi from the rooftop of the Vinzirast Mittendrin Dachatelier. </p><p>The venue is wheelchair accessible. To access the Vinzirast Dachatelier rooftop, cross the restaurant into the back courtyard. Um auf die Dachterrasse des Vinzirast Dachateliers zu gelangen, durchqueren Sie das Restaurant und gehen in den Hinterhof. <h3><strong>JG Danso (she/her)</strong></h3><p>JG Danso (she/her) is a Black, cis-woman, queer poet, intersectional equalities advisor and human resources expert. JG’s work navigates feminism, queer visibility, motherhood and relationships. </p><p>Her multidisciplinary approach to writing connects queer joy to the push for structural equality, intersectionality and inclusion in all spaces. Born and raised in East London, she is resident poet of queer community café Villa Vida, Vienna; Chair of hint.wien an association working to support queer mental health through highly intersectional queer centered storytelling; and board member of the Schwarze Frauen Community (Black Women's Community). </p><p>She also lectures on Anti-discrimination &amp; Equality on the Masters of Applied Human Rights Programme at the Vienna University of Applied Arts.</p><p></p><p> Instagram @jgdanso, @queerwriterscirclevienna, @hint.wien</p>

<h3><strong> Diana</strong></h3><p>Diana was born in Uzbekistan but grew up in Greece. She has lived in the UK, the Netherlands, and Hungary. </p><p>She holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies and arrived to Austria 2 years ago to continue her graduate studies. Her interests primarily lie in science and technology studies from a queer, feminist and postcolonial perspective as well as queer and sci-fi literature.</p><p></p>

<h3><strong>Oishi (they/them) </strong></h3><p>Oishi (they/them) is a nonbinary queer scholar. Their work interrogates the possibility of imagining quotidian practices of care as a queer-feminist intervention in political resistance. They were taught আবৃত্তি (abritti), a form of poetry recitation specific to the Bangla speaking communities, by their mother at a very young age and have performed it in many parts of India over the years.</p><p>instagram.com/oishisengupta</p><p></p>

<h3><strong>Margaret Carter (she/her) </strong></h3><p>Margaret Carter (she/her) is a dynamic and passionate singer with a voice that inspires audiences. Originally from the US, she began to sing as a child. </p><p>The rich and smooth tones of her voice make her a natural for jazz and blues. Now based in Vienna, she studied with the jazz legend Elly Wright and enjoys appearances at a range of charity and cultural events.</p><p></p><p>instagram.com/margaret.carter.1671</p>

<h3><strong>Dr. phil Paul*A Helfritzsch (sie*r)</strong></h3><p>Dr. phil Paul*A Helfritzsch studierte Philosophie und Psychologie. </p><p>Sie*r wurde 2020 an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität in Jena mit der Arbeit "Als Andere unter Anderen" promoviert. </p><p>Seit Mai 2021 lehrt und forscht sie*r als Post-Doc an der Universität Wien im Bereich der Emotionstheorie, zu Fragen der Sozialphilosophie und der Geschlechtertheorien. In s*ihren literarischen und wiss. Texten sowie s*ihrer politischen Arbeit stellt Helfritzsch sich gegen unterschiedlichste Formen der Unterdrückung. </p><p>S*ihr Leitfaden dabei sind die Worte Leslie Feinbergs: "Wenn ich will, dass du für mich kämpfst, dann muss ich in der ersten Reihe stehen, um für dich zu kämpfen."</p><p></p><p>instagram.com/paul_ahelfritzsch</p>

<h3>Moiz he/him</h3><p>Moiz, pronounced like "noise", was raised in Pakistan. He has studied and worked in the US, France, Switzerland, Poland, and now Austria for the last 8 years. </p><p>Moiz is interested in intersections of political violence against minorities, masculinity, theater, art history, immigrant identity, and food. He remembers growing up surrounded by Urdu poetry, often  dramatic, but always very poignant.</p><p></p><p>instagram.com/moizleo1</p>

<h3><strong>Salem Islas-Madlo (she/her) </strong></h3><p>Salem Islas-Madlo is a writer, poet, and holistic energy coach who likes to talk to trees while delving into Zen realms of mindfulness meditation. </p><p>By day, she works as a quiet English teacher and by night she takes to her broom to commune with the moon and stars.</p><p>instagram.com/deepwildcoaching</p>

<h3>Workshop: Stregthen your intuition - Let the light in</h3><p>A workshop by Salem Islas-Madlo. Salem is a writer, poet, and holistic energy coach who is also completing training in trauma therapy. The workshop will take a deeper look at POETIC INTUITION as a way to unlock creativity,  reconnect with self-compassion and affirm self-acceptance. </p><p>Bring a blanket, cushion, mat, pen and paper as we decompress, recharge and create through POETIC INTUITION. </p><p>This will be a Queer centered space. Allies are welcome. Please be mindful that this is a highly intersectional queer centered space and check your privilege.</p>
