The LEC Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum (LSSTF) brings together key players from around the globe to drive innovation and collaboration for zero-emission shipping. The forum fosters the exchange of ideas, promotes cooperation, and creates synergies across the maritime sector to accelerate the transition to sustainable shipping.
Initiated in 2019 by the Large Engines Competence Center (LEC) and jointly organized with the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA), the LSSTF is held annually, alternating between Graz (Austria) and Hamburg (Germany).
In just a few years, the LSSTF has evolved into a dynamic and growing international network. Over 600 institutions and individuals from more than 40 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North and South America are now part of the community. This impressive global engagement highlights the urgency of climate action and the critical role of international cooperation in advancing zero-emission maritime technologies.
