Bottled Stories – Wine Tastings at Neighbor

A series of tastings at Neighbor Wine Store featuring exciting winemakers, regional styles, and open bottles. Taste, talk, and discover the people and stories behind the wines – in a relaxed, welcoming setting in Vienna’s 19th district.

We are welcoming Meinklang to Neighbor for an evening where the winery takes the lead. Presented by someone directly from the estate, this tasting offers a first-hand introduction to their biodynamic philosophy and day-to-day work on the farm.Based in Burgenland, Meinklang operates as a holistic farm, where vineyards, animals, and agriculture form one interconnected system. Their wines reflect this approach: unforced, expressive, and guided by nature rather than heavy intervention in the cellar.During the evening, you will taste four wines selected and presented by Meinklang, each offering a different perspective on their style—from vibrant and approachable to more structured and layered expressions. Along the way, you will gain insight into their methods, grape varieties, and the thinking behind each wine, directly from the source. The tasting is complemented by a selection of snacks, designed to work naturally with the wines and support the overall experience.A straightforward, well-paced evening with real depth—ideal for anyone interested in understanding what biodynamic winemaking looks like in practice.Limited spots available.
