Very related to the celebration of Dionysus the God of wine, enjoyment, sensuality and celebration. Delving into the juicyness of life, feeling it, expanding trough the senses to meet the divine liquid. For the celtic peoples Beltane was always a huuge celebration around a very big fire, people jumping over the fire to let go of the old rugs of winter, releasing everything still stuck, and giving it to the fire. With bowls of ancient brews and drinks they entered drunkeness and trance states with a lot of dance. A free sexuality was on that day for many villages the yearly exception linked to this celebration. Aswell to keep the order troughout the year.Wild. Sensual. From Spring to Summer. Ritual. Extasis. Divine Celebration. And the Maypole tree is and was a sign for the fertility of the land and the village, fertility of Ideas-Projects, fertility of the seeds that have been planted and of rain and sun. The maypole signifies the masculine and the wreath of flowers and herbs is the feminine. It is a symbolic ritual for the land.....We will be donating 10% of the wins towards projects of planting gardens in g@za & the turtle island project fund of Nativa Ostara.
