Morning coffee with Mina Arko on branding digital products and connecting with users on emotional level.

Technological companies face a common challenge: an uncertain market where it is crucial to quickly impress potential customers. Why would a customer choose us? What do we offer that is so interesting or better than some other existing solution? It turns out that this does not depend solely on bare functionalities. It is also not something that automatically happens if we combine good product design and advertising the product's advantages. The strongest impression is created based on emotions: the user identifies with our message, envisions an improvement in life with our solution, and by using our product, they will receive social validation...Join us for a morning coffee with Mina Arko (Studio Mina Arko), to explore the field of branding digital products, which influences their verbal and visual perception among users.Mina collaborates with companies to co-create brand identities while helping employees within those companies understand how they support the strategic goals of the company (she is currently helping Chipolo with their brand development). She deals with questions such as why people develop a positive attitude towards certain brands while remaining indifferent to others. She contemplates the ethics of working with data, how to discuss sustainability with technology companies, and why both of these topics are important for success in tomorrow's world. She earned her master's degree at Aalto University in Finland and further honed her skills at the Berlin-based company Art+Com.The host of the event will be Aljaž Vindiš, ScreenSaverz co-founder and mentor.Aljaž's work involves the design of solutions in the areas of the Internet of Things and digital twins, infographics and visualizations of data, cartography and spatial orientation, and personalized or contextually adapted content. His work has led to numerous business successes, excellent user feedback and professional recognition in the fields of design, journalism and statistics. He helped more than a dozen companies launch products and participated in the creation of three internationally successful teams. Finding and mentoring young talent is an ongoing passion of his, and he often shares his knowledge through lectures, workshops and trainings. He's done over 50, at home and abroad.Prepare your ☕and join us online on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, at 9.00 AM (UTC +02:00)
