Club Melange COOKING CLASSES - old traditional Austrian dishes shown by our grandparentsToday we are cooking: "Linsen mit Speck und Knödel" (We will also prepare a veggie version without Bacon) and "Zwetschkenfleck" for desert (let me TRY to translate this: Lentils with bacon and dumplings and a plum cake for desert). We are a group of Austrians who love to cook. We want to present older Austrian dishes to the international society in Vienna and cook them together with you. Some of these dishes were shown to us by our parents and grandparents. They can soon be forgotten and are rarely available in restaurants too.We are not professional chefs, but we make the dishes well😊 They taste amazing!!! Register now and cook with us if you are eager to learn about Austrian dishes. Many of the recipes include meat. However, along with the traditional versions, we will prepare vegetarian options where they are possible. We do not serve alcoholic beverages unless someone brings a bottle of wine.Included: rent of kitchen and equipment, food and fun. At the end of the workshop the recipes will be given in written. Cooking classes usually cost 150 Euro. We are very happy that we can offer our cooking class at a lower price. Maximum participants: 10 End of registration: October 4th
