The visit starts at 16.00 directly there and lasts for 1h.What is it about?“A duo of artists, Frauke Huber and Uwe H. Martin has set themselves the task of documenting the social and ecological consequences of global agriculture. And they have succeeded in creating an outstanding testimony of our time. LandRush”.“Agriculture is a driver of climate change, species extinction, soil erosion and dwindling water resources. It takes up about 40% of the world's land area and more than 70% of its freshwater, drying up rivers and lowering water tables. Increasing desertification due to overexploitation of land and rising temperatures is one of the greatest threats to life on earth”We will guide you through the exhibition and host a facilitated conversation on biodiversity back in the Hub from 18.00-19.30. The 2 events are separated. You can choose to attend only one of them.
