Dear EmpowerHer Talents,

we welcome you to our 2nd Face2Face event in our #ConnectUs Stream.

If we talk about next level leaders and empowerment, we need as well fokus on agil leadership and the changes and challanges in a VUCA world!

What you can expect:

IMPULSE

In the impulse, we ask ourselves why an agile leadership mindset is actually needed and what it should actually be. We live in a so-called VUCA world and complexity and difficulties are increasing every day. The speed of change also feels as if it is getting faster and faster and the tried and tested methods of leadership in companies no longer work as they used to. At the same time, the demands on managers are also growing and we are confronted with countless new trends and changes. The answer to this confusing world can only be that we need to grow into learning organizations and managers have a special role to play here. They are responsible for creating the framework conditions that make learning possible, that make learning a prerequisite and that focus on all our competencies and strengths. Strengths-oriented, agile leadership is even more in demand. There is no simple answer or guide, but there are clear steps towards a more agile way of leading so that learning is made possible: for organizations, for employees and leaders.

In the following reflection, we look at our own superpower. What defines me as a leader and what could my agile leadership style look like? In a quick mini talk with my neighbor, I then briefly reflect on the considerations.

Who is Helga Parrart?

She is Managing Director at Techhouse and president of the European Digital Innovation Hub Innovate. Helga leads projects in innovation, leadership, and digitalization. Helga has had an impressive career path, previously serving as the Managing Director of Darwin’s Circle in 2021. Before that, she spent five years leading the Executive Education division at the WU Executive Academy. Her expertise lies in HR and HR strategy, gained through her experience in various organizations.
Helga’s educational background centers around adult education and learning, with a focus on organizational and personal development, coaching, and leadership. She also shares her knowledge as a lecturer at WU Wien, teaching on modern leadership and agility.
With her passion for driving innovation and fostering effective leadership practices, Helga is an asset to our team at Techhouse. Her vast experience and expertise ensure the successful execution of projects and the continuous growth of our organization.
