Question 1

Do I need to know ClickHouse already?

Accepted Answer

No. If you have built a backend against a relational database you will follow it. I explain the ClickHouse-specific parts from scratch and save the deeper internals for the Q&A.

Question 2

Will it be recorded?

Accepted Answer

No recording this time. The slides go out to everyone who registered a day or two afterwards.

Question 3

How does the helicopter draw work?

Accepted Answer

Everyone attending in person is entered. We draw at the end of the session and you have to be in the room to win. The prize is a seat on SPI Helicopters' Space X Fly By, booked with them directly and subject to weather and availability.

Question 4

When should I get there, and is there anything to eat?

Accepted Answer

Doors open at 5:15 PM and the talk starts at 5:30 PM sharp, so the Q&A does not get squeezed. Drinks and snacks are provided.

Question 5

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

There is free street parking around CROSSHATCH BTX on East Washington Street and the blocks either side of it.
