Overview

A warm invitation to the first Diffractive Dialogues event of 2026, featuring Carolina Cappelli, Charlotta Ruth, and Dominik Grünbühel.

What if giving feedback became an act of “reading through” – diffracting artistic material through one’s artistic practice?

Diffractive Dialogues is a three-day immersive gathering where three teaching artists are invited to exchange practices, ideas, and gestures in a shared space of ongoing inquiry. Inspired by Karen Barad’s concept of “diffraction”,this format investigates how artistic material shifts as it moves through different perspectives, bodies, and sensibilities.

Over three days, the three artists will guide the participants in dialogues rooted in their distinct practices. By exploring commonalities and differences, their exchange aims to foster a collective critical approach to artistic processes, encouraging insight-sharing, the challenging of assumptions, and the enriching of shared knowledge.
