This hands-on workshop supports researchers and scientific staff at TU Wien in identifying their personal motivation and values as a basis for purposeful and effective work. Participants reflect on how to align their expertise and working style with their individual drivers, strengthen resilience, and gain clarity on where their energy is best invested. The session combines short inputs with practical exercises and guides participants in formulating their personal “Why” as a compass for their professional decisions.
About the speakers
Valerie-Sophie Schoenberg works at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability, with expertise in circular economy strategies and systemic organizational development. As owner of Schönberg Consulting, she advises startups, accompanies processes and manages projects for companies of all sizes and the public sector. To scale her impact, she is Member of the Board of Member of the Circular Economy Forum Austria and teaches in academic programs in Austria and Germany. Ms Schoenberg holds a BSc in European Studies (Maastricht University) and an MSc in Socio-Economics (WU Vienna).

About the Entrepreneurship for Scientists Series
The Entrepreneurship for Scientists Series organized by the TU Wien Innovation Incubation Center (i²c) is targeting scientists who would like to enrich or develop a personal entrepreneurial skillset & business competencies, know more about opportunities how to navigate innovations from „the lab“ to society or who would simply like to engage in entrepreneurial thinking. These workshops are free of charge to scientists from all faculties and institutes of TU Wien. Registration required.
