Eastern Healing Arts Workshop - Element Water - Kidneys & Bladder
Overview
The Power of Winter – Retreat, Regeneration & Deep Life Essence
As autumn recedes and winter begins, our inner landscape also transforms.
The energy of nature gathers inward, becoming stiller, deeper, and more concentrated.
In Taoist teachings, this transition corresponds to the water element, which is closely connected to the kidneys and bladder – the seat of our essence (Jing), our primal trust, our inner strength, willpower, and the ability to surrender to the flow of life.
In the element of water, we encounter the deepest level of our life energy.
During this phase, water invites us to slow down, gather ourselves, and protect our life energy.
It is the ideal time to strengthen our kidneys, transform fears, and discover new depths within ourselves.
Immerse yourself in the world of Eastern Healing Arts and discover how meditation, Qi Gong, Tea wisdom and Inner Taoist Alchemy can help you release stagnant emotions and create space for inner transformation and balance.
Why this workshop is especially important in winter:
During the transition to the colder months, our bodies slow down, conserve energy, and seek regeneration.
Strong kidneys give us:
inner peace
a healthy energy level
a sense of primal trust
This workshop will support you in renewing your energy, reducing stress, and connecting with your inner self.

Through:
- Meditation - Arrival - We begin in silence.
With our eyes closed, we turn our attention inward.
The breath becomes the bridge to this moment.
Here, in the now, we connect with our bodies and the space.
- Qi Gong – 5 Animal Frolics - The Deer
With the movements of the animals, we return to our original life force.
Fluent, playful, powerful – each animal embodies a quality that strengthens body,
mind, and organ energy.
In winter, we specifically activate the animal that corresponds to the
current element and organ.
Movement becomes medicine.
- Tea & Knowledge
We connect with the wisdom of tea and delve into the deeper meaning of the organ system from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Through mindfulness, we open the inner space for insight and transformation.
Together, we examine which emotional, energetic, and physical blockages can express themselves in each organ.
- Inner Taoist Alchemy
We direct our attention inward—to where energy is shaped, refined, and transformed.
With breath, mindfulness, and conscious guidance of the mind, we cultivate Qi
in the organ realm.
We harmonize the element and emotions, strengthen energies, and connect with the alchemical forces of transformation.
