Connect, share knowledge and discuss the way forward toward a climate-neutral future.

About this event

The new ESEIA Lecture Series was designed to improve the understanding of complex challenges and interdisciplinary interactions involved in tackling climate change and creating a sustainable future.

Entitled Sustainable Energy Innovation Systems for Climate Neutrality, this series will provide a platform for perspectives exchange between different societal actors on what must be done to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

The lectures will cover a wide range of topics, enabling representatives from science, education and training, business, politics, the media, and civil society to understand each other's roles in climate and energy transformation and share their experiences.

Upcoming lectures:

  • 6 October 2022 | Photovoltaic (PV) Systems and their Applications | Brian Norton, Head of Energy Research at Tyndall National Institute, Ireland;
  • 17 November 2022 | Repower Europe | Teresa Ponce de Leão, President of LNEG, Portugal.

The lectures will be delivered in a hybrid format - in person with live streaming. More information is available here.
