Details
“A decade of transforming the world one block at a time.”On 30 July 2015 the Ethereum genesis block was mined. The internet quietly changed its aggregate state: finance became programmable, ownership digitised, memes tokenisable (sometimes against our will 😅). Ten years later the blocks still spark, and Vienna—city of coffee, modernism, and stubborn thinkers—invites you to celebrate the network’s first double‑digit birthday.Why Web3 Hub Vienna – DC Tower 3, Donau‑City‑Straße 3, 1220 Vienna?Because the future isn’t built in silence—it’s shaped in buzzing rooms, over bold debates, shared memes, and last-minute slides before the next panel starts.At the Web3 Hub Vienna, you’ll find:🚀 crypto founders and policy thinkers,🎯 builders and regulators,💡 degens, devs, and the quietly brilliant minds who show up for a meetup and end up launching the next big protocol.It’s not a café—it’s something better:A space where the Web3 community meets regularly to connect, collaborate, and challenge ideas—right in the heart of Donau City.Ethereum’s first decade unfolded in pretty much the same way.Gathering a compact circle of builders, validators, researchers, and casual blockchain flâneurs to

share 5–7‑minute lightning “why‑we‑build” stories;

argue about the next ten years—L2s, restaking, ZK‑privacy, MEV ethics, the culture layer;

stir technology with a spoonful of urbane Viennese humour.

FAQ

Do I need to know Solidity? No. Curiosity and tolerance for blockchain jokes are mandatory.

I’m from the Bitcoin world—will I get battered? In a Viennese café the debates are loud but civil. Come along.

Can I present remotely? Yes—5‑minute lightning via screen; let us know in advance.

Will there be a recording? If we find someone who remembers to press Rec after their second espresso.

May I bring my own dessert? If it’s grandma’s Linzertorte, you automatically become a speaker.

RSVP, ascend, and let’s toast the next decade—one block, one sip, one skyline at a time.
