About this event
Join us for a relaxed 30-minute stroll through Vienna’s vineyards – no hiking gear required!
This is a gentle, wooded vineyard-edge path that leads us straight to one of the city’s beloved family-run Heuriger, Häuserl am Stoan. The focus is on enjoying the landscape, meeting new people and winding down together over food, drinks and conversation.
We’ll meet at Ährengrubenweg Bus Stop (Line 39A), near the vineyards and walk together to the Heuriger. Once there, we’ll settle in with a glass of wine, a refreshing G’spritzter or a plate of local food and stunning views of Vienna.
Wine is optional, the walk is easy and everyone is welcome.
Whether you’re new to Vienna or have lived here for years, this is a chance to explore a different side of the city and experience the charm of an evening in the wine hills.

Absolutely. You’ll still need to register here so we can save you a seat, but if the walk doesn’t fit your schedule, you’re welcome to meet us directly at the Heuriger. Just let us know so we don’t wait for you at the meeting point - there is public transport near the venue, and limited parking.
No, it’s a relaxed 30-minute stroll on a wide path with a gentle uphill slope. Comfortable shoes are all you need. If you’d prefer to skip the walk, you can join us straight at the Heuriger (please still register so we can reserve your spot). There is limited parking available at the venue.
The €10 goes directly toward your food and drink at the Heuriger. It also helps us secure the reservation and reduce last-minute no-shows.
Not at all. The Heuriger also serves non-alcoholic drinks, traditional food and lighter options. Wine is part of the atmosphere, but the event is really about enjoying the setting and good company.
The event will go ahead rain or shine. If the weather doesn’t cooperate for the outdoor walk, we’ll shorten or skip it and head straight to the Heuriger, which has plenty of indoor space reserved for us.
Yes, of course – just make sure they register too so we can include them in the reservation.
