International brunch
Join us for a cozy and welcoming international brunch where expats, newcomers, and globally minded locals come together to connect!
International Brunch: Self-employment in Austria
During this brunch, we will dive into self-employment opportunities in Austria and explore alternative paths beyond the traditional career model.
We are very happy to introduce our guest speakers:
Doris Oberleiter, Ringana partner for sustainable cosmetic products.
Doris will share her personal journey into self-employment and speak about meaningful, green business opportunities beyond the conventional career path. Expect honest insights into a value-driven, location-independent business model — self-employed, but never alone.
Michelle da Costa, Founder and CEO at Nikisha - The Concept Store.
Nikisha embodies the fusion of tradition and a modern, elegant lifestyle. Michelle will share her entrepreneurial journey into self-employment and how following intuition, embracing heritage, and leading with intention shaped her path. Join us for an inspiring perspective on entrepreneurship driven by passion, purpose, and authenticity.
Who is this brunch for?
Once a month, we gather to enjoy good food and beverages, pleasant conversations and networking. Here you will be able to:
- meet new people and build meaningful connection
- exchange tips, contacts, and ideas for navigating life in Austria
- feel understood, supported, and part of a growing international community
Whether you’re new to Vienna or have been here for a while, this brunch is a gentle reminder that you’re not alone on this journey. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your story and enjoy a morning filled with connection, comfort, and belonging.
How do we roll?
We keep the group small (10-15 people) to ensure conversations remain cozy and meaningful. We start with a short introduction and then continue by sharing our stories and integration journeys. Along the way, we meet new people, create meaningful connections, and gain new perspectives.
Mutual respect is essential to us. This is a safe and inclusive space. Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.
Good to know:
You can join us for a coffee, tea, lemonade, or enjoy breakfast or lunch at the location where our brunch takes place. You simply pay for your own consumption. No big surprises here.
Let’s build community, one brunch at a time. 🥐✨:)
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Nikolina
