Cafe DEnglish has been running on and off since 2015, when it brought together native German speakers with mostly Syrian refugees in Mariahilf.

It has developed into an online and offline opportunity for language learners to practice their English or German skills in a relaxed setting, and for both teachers and non teachers to offer their native language skills, as well as their culture and life experiences to others for mutual benefit. You dont need formal training, just an open mind and the ability to talk and listen. ( Actually just one of those is enough, talk or listen, or both )

Whether you're a beginner or fluent speaker of German, in Vienna, tonight everyone is welcome to come and improve their fluency and confidence in a casual environment. You WILL meet new people and you MAY make new friends! "Be there, or miss out".
