Learn with Grandma - English with ....

The Learning Street / VH/ Vienna Happiness Project

About 5 years ago we met Denis in Kenya, online, and somehow he ended up in Kakuma Refugee Camp for most of the time since,

Addicted to Rock

During that 5 years he has grown, and we have both learned much, and also met many new friends around the world. At one point, to survive, he was shovelling earth in Nairobi for 3 to 4 dollars per day, and I honestly dont know how he has kept going for so long doing what he does. I am full of admiration.I suggested he could offer English with Denis to Europeans, on zoom, for a similar amount per hour, and we began to develop this process, where many similar people can offer native or second language English to people under the Cafe DEnglish program, running here since 2016.To explain and connect we are offering a hybrid session on June 30th, which you can book on here, and you can also book a schnupper or trial session with any of the people in the program, which profiles a growing number of HOPEfulls here.<a href="https://learnwithgrandmaaustriazambia.substack.com/p/english-with" title="https://learnwithgrandmaaustriazambia.substack.com/p/english-with" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://learnwithgrandmaaustriazambia.substack.com/p/english-with</a>Polo Roseline for example offered a weekly 4pm session to a small group as an introduction to permaculture. We shall trial this, perhaps some dates and times might materialise where we have a few People with Passion prepared to speak, and interested speaking partners / tandem partners can move to break out rooms within a larger zoom call set up in Africa, Europe or North America...Volunteers for this always welcome. kind regards from Vienna, Nigelnote - this is a collaboration of various organisations or brands - <a href="https://austrianhappinessproject.substack.com/" title="https://austrianhappinessproject.substack.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Austrian Happiness Project</a> - <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/cafedenglish" title="https://www.facebook.com/groups/cafedenglish" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cafe DEnglish</a> - <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/LwGInternational" title="https://www.facebook.com/groups/LwGInternational" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Learn with Grandma</a> - <a href="https://thelearningstreetkenya.substack.com/p/happy-learning-circle-chess" title="https://thelearningstreetkenya.substack.com/p/happy-learning-circle-chess" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Learning Street Kenya</a> - <a href="https://www.facebook.com/ViennaHappinessProject" title="https://www.facebook.com/ViennaHappinessProject" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Vienna Happiness Project</a> - <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/2563117300" title="https://www.facebook.com/groups/2563117300" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Vienna Hub</a>
