Mug Making and Chocolate Tasting

Mug Making and Chocolate Tasting

Overview

Come spend a slow and playful evening getting your hands messy with clay, and enjoying a little chocolate along the way.

About the event

Come spend a slow and playful evening getting your hands messy with clay, and enjoying a little chocolate along the way.

In this relaxed ceramic workshop, you’ll create your very own handmade mug, shaped and decorated entirely by you.

You can keep it simple, playful, spooky, colourful or completely magical, there are no rules and no need to have any previous pottery experience.

What we'll do

• Learn the basics of hand-building with clay

• Create your own unique mug

• Add playful details, textures, patterns or little characters

• Enjoy a mindful chocolate tasting with Lilla, certified chocolate educator, along with a cup of delicious hot chocolate that you can sip while creating your mug.

• Slow down, chat and enjoy a creative evening together

Your mug will be finished, glazed and fired 5-6 weeks after the workshop, ready to become your new favourite cup at home. Plus hot chocolate stick as a gift when you pick up your finished mug (you can choose from 5 flavours)

The workshop will be held in English.

Facilitated by:

Flóra Kékes - visual artist, ceramist, and founder of Florhea Art • Moon • Rituals.

With over 10 years of experience in Brand and Product Design, I discovered the world of ceramics a few years ago and fell in love with it. This passion led me to found my own brand Florhea, a creative space where art, spirituality, and inner exploration meet. Through Florhea, I create art ritual experiences and objects that invite us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and bring more intention, creativity and magic into everyday life.

Lilla Toth-Tatai - certified chocolate educator and international chocolate judge, founder of Taste.Better.Chocolate.

With over 13 years of experience in the chocolate world, I host fun and interactive chocolate tastings focusing on premium quality craft chocolates, sourced ethically and sustainably and working exclusively with plant-based products. I create a mindfulness experience with my chocolate tastings, and invite participants to come with me on an exciting flavour journey.
