Our Goal within the NEFI Technology Talks

The worldwide innovation landscape offers a competitive basis from which to develop novel solutions that will help to achieve the international climate goals. Since numerous research projects for deploying new green technologies are already well underway, we want to showcase how we are already working on the next step! To this end, and as part of the NEFI Technology Talks, national (Austrian) and international industrial endeavours – in the context of selected decarbonisation topics – will be brought together in the one online event to synthese findings and to identify synergies to exploit and drive development further.

The Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) will present its findings and the results of the action area “Energy Efficiency for Industry”, which have been synthesized into an implementation plan that ranges from technological advances to economic feasibility studies. NEFI has thus taken this opportunity to form a collaborative event with SET-Plan to present the key insights of national decarbonisation pathways and their interconnections to findings from this implementation plan, both from a theoretical and practical perspective.
