[Men's and male-read persons' sharing circle]

Let’s face it: the conversation around gender equality is shifting—and men have a powerful role to play. Not just as allies, but as leaders ready to redefine what strength looks like today.
This isn’t about guilt or getting it “right.” It’s about stepping into a version of masculinity that builds trust, fosters real connection, and creates space for growth—at work, in relationships, and within ourselves. It’s about showing up with clarity and confidence, leading with integrity, and creating cultures where people thrive.

If you’re the kind of man who’s curious, committed, and ready to be part of a future that works for everyone—this is your space. Let’s rethink masculinity together. Let’s make it real, relevant, and powerful. So, what does new masculinity look like in a changing world—especially in the workplace?

This event is not about blame or teaching—it’s about discovering together.

This is your invitation to a space to explore questions like...

  • What is your experience with the topic?
  • What might be fears around it, for you or others?
  • Where do you fit into all of this, how can you contribute to a world that works for all?
  • Is it okay to have doubts? To not have all the answers?
  • What do you need to make a real impact in gender equality at work?
  • ...and any topic in this realm you would like to share and talk about!

Your hosts:

  • Jakob Allinger is a social entrepreneur and cofounder of CoBros. In this role, he creates accessible social skills trainings through sports and play, specifically tailored for boys and young men. He also facilitates spaces for dialogue and personal growth among adult men. His perspective is shaped by hands-on experience in gender-sensitive youth work, a deep commitment to positive masculinity, and a belief in community-based solutions.
  • Jakob Sonnenholzner is a peace and conflict researcher as well as a mediator. In this role, he supports people through both personal and professional conflicts. His worldview is shaped by experiences in humanitarian emergency aid for refugees in Greece and Turkey, European party politics, civil society engagement, and the strategic development of NGOs.

This event was initiated by Mireya Mena Velasco.
Mireya is a qualified Social Educator, by the University of Valladolid, from Spain, currently undertaking a volunteering placement at Impact Hub Vienna through the European Solidarity Corps. She has participated in various Erasmus+ projects focused on youth participation and social inclusion. Her work is driven by a commitment to gender equality and the creation of safe, inclusive environments where critical dialogue and personal reflection can take place. She views creativity and emotional openness as essential tools for meaningful and lasting social transformation.
