The intertwining of rave and alternative culture is an important cultural phenomenon, which has outburst with new force in Ukraine since 2014 as a form of resistance to a tough political reality, and continues as a wartime resilience method.
The event is showcasing these quirky coping strategies as a synthesis of action deeply rooted in the Ukrainian historical context. So, Ode to Resistance’s story is to be told through the glance of rave regulars, electronic musicians, and young outcasts‘.
