Join us on Sunday, 27 July at 15:00 for an enchanting Opera Matinée in the elegant setting of Galerie am Roten Hof (Piaristengasse 1, 1080 Wien). Delight in a program of beloved opera arias, virtuosic piano works, and Italian & Spanish songs performed by two outstanding young artists.
The program includes some of the most iconic baritone arias: Rossini’s “Largo al factotum”, Bizet’s “Toreador Couplets”, Mozart’s arias and Italian arias from Bellini to Verdi. You'll also enjoy dazzling solo piano works by Chopin and Rachmaninov, along with beloved Neapolitan and Spanish songs like “Granada”, “O sole mio”, “Core 'ngrato” — a feast of Mediterranean romance and flair.
🎤 Andrei Maksimov (baritone, Wiener Staatsoper Opera Studio)
At the Wiener Staatsoper, his 2024/25 season includes Paris (Roméo et Juliette), Donald (Billy Budd), and Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia). In January 2025, he made his debut as Masetto in Don Giovanni at the Auditorium Rainier III in Monte Carlo, conducted by Bertrand de Billy.
In the 2025/26 season, he will appear at the Wiener Staatsoper as Masetto (Don Giovanni), Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), and the Hunter (Rusalka), and will cover the roles of Valentin (Faust) and Schaunard (La bohème).
🎹 Alla Belova (piano, Berlin)
hails from Saint Petersburg and began her musical journey at age four. She studied at the Mussorgsky College and the Rimsky‑Korsakov Conservatory, earning her master’s at Hochschule Luzern under Prof. Benjamin Moser. Since 2024 she has further developed her artistry in Berlin. A distinguished soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician, she has performed with orchestras including the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, recorded for Claves Records, and won international competitions
