POLYXENA
Fox On Ice premieres the most influential myth about the senseless destruction of the city of Troy by a cruel and childish war that destroyed the principles of a civilisation’s political, public, private and religious achievements. The overlooked and unheard women regain their voices and perspectives in songs, images, scenes and narratives, creating a vital outcry against the incomprehensible stupidity of a seemingly ineradicable perversion: war.
The show combines elements of cinema, theatre, literature and alternative rock music and provides a framework of public formats of applied humanities. POLYXENA offers a sensual crossing of stage and screen, voice and body, myth and music.
The entrence is free in combination with a museum-ticket for the same day.
