About this event
We are delighted to announce that we are back and organising this year’s conference which will be a hybrid event - with earlier dates of 31st August to 2nd September.
PUG Challenge 2022 - a hybrid event
Following the success of our Virtual Conference in 2020 and POET Summit in 2021, we believe that holding a hybrid event is giving you the ‘best of both worlds’.
With a virtual event ticket, you can view presentations from the on-site location in Vienna, Austria, which will be broadcast live to online viewers all over the world. You will also be able to see lots of interesting presentations and information from our sponsors and interact with other conference attendees.
Alternatively there is also an option to attend in person at the on-site event, where we have a limited number of tickets available. See the on-site event booking for more details.
Earlier dates
We have chosen earlier dates to optimise the possibility of avoiding winter viruses.
Vienna
The on-site part of PUG Challenge 2022 with be held at the Hilton Park in Vienna - the venue we have all been looking forward to visiting. We will be broadcasting all presentations and selected content from this location to all of our online attendees.

Imposed Sanctions on Russia
In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US, UK and European Union, among several other countries, have imposed severe sanctions and export controls against Russia, and individuals and entities associated with the Russian government.
To ensure compliance with these sanctions, we have decided that we will not be accepting registrations from delegates, presenters or sponsors for PUG Challenge (on-site or remotely) from Russia, Belarus, Crimea, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic regions of Ukraine, which are the areas covered by the sanctions.
