Denise Ruffner is a prominent business leader and strategist in the quantum computing industry, recognized for her expertise in advanced computing technologies and her commitment to promoting diversity in tech. She currently works as an independent consultant, specializing in digital health innovation and strategic advisory services.

Ruffner has held key leadership roles at several major quantum technology firms, including IonQ and Cambridge Quantum Computing, and spent 18 years at IBM, where she was instrumental in launching the IBM Q Startup Program and leading the global IBM Quantum Ambassador team.

Ruffner is a co-founder of Diversity in Quantum (DiviQ.org) and President of Women in Quantum, organizations dedicated to mentoring and supporting diverse talent in the quantum field. Her advocacy has helped break barriers for under-represented groups, promoting a more inclusive workforce in quantum computing.

Angie Qarry is an accomplished scientist, entrepreneur, and business leader specializing in disruptive technologies, quantum physics, and cybersecurity. Based in Vienna, Austria, she is the founder and CEO/CTO of QDeepTech and co-founder of Shama AI, a pioneering startup focused on real-time detection of AI-generated voice deepfakes to combat cybercrime.

With a strong academic background including a Ph.D. in nanotechnology and semiconductor physics, Dr. Qarry has held research and leadership positions at renowned institutions such as the University of Vienna, the National University of Singapore, and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

She is recognized for her expertise at the intersection of physics, deep learning, and cybersecurity, and is actively involved in international standards development for quantum and post-quantum cryptography. Dr. Qarry is known for her commitment to ethical AI and technological innovation.
