Do you know the milestones of queer history in Austria? Want to learn more about queer politics and history? Then join us on this 🌈 Queer Pride Walk in english!
We visit the locations of the milestones in queer history in Austria, from the University of Vienna with its law and medical faculty, to the Vienna City Hall and the legendary Life Ball as probably the most important event in the fight against AIDS, to the Austrian Parliament in which numerous queer laws had to be decided.
At Heldenplatz we remember the Europride 2001, before we commemorate the persecution of homosexuals under the Nazi regime at Karlsplatz at the ARCUS monument.
