A coffee with Aljaž Vindiš, proven design leader with years of experience in building and leading product design teams.

As designers we are often embedded in product development teams. We have to understand who we are working with, what we are working on, and what are the processes in place to get the work done. Oftentimes we feel out place. What about our (design) process? How can we assimilate, and at the same time still do great work? How can we get buy-in for research and exploratory phases from senior stakeholders? How can we co-create conditions that would allow us to perform in a meaningful way?Join us online next Wednesday (Feb 9th) at 9:00 am Ljubljana time (GMT+1) for a coffee with Aljaž Vindiš, proven design leader with years of experience in building and leading product design teams. We will tackle:- Understanding the context of your workplace,- Assimilating into existing team traditions,- De-coupling exploratory design from production design,- Quantifying the impact of your work,- Getting access to users for testing, or using proxies.Aljaž’s work spans IoT and digital twins, infographics and data vizualization, cartography and spatial orientation, atomic content, and contextual information.
