Question 1

Do I need any prior knowledge of the language?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't need any prior knowledge of the language. But if you've already learnt Spanish this is a good way of consolidating your knowledge.

Question 2

Why are there several dates? How are they different?

Accepted Answer

Each taster session offered will give people a chance to see if they are truly interested in learning the language, and also if they'd like to continue onto the full 10-week course. So, these sessions don't differ from each other and the content is always the same.

Question 3

Who is teaching the course?

Accepted Answer

The course will be taught by a native Spanish speaker with experience teaching Spanish and other languages, currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages. She specializes in helping beginners build confidence, understand how the language works, and start speaking from right away.

Question 4

What are the objectives of this introductory session?

Accepted Answer

By the end of this session, participants will be able to introduce themselves in Spanish and say where they are from.
The session also provides a chance to get to know the instructor, experience the teaching style, and receive an overview of the structure and approach of the 10-week online course.

Question 5

Will there be any more courses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There will be follow-up courses as well as conversation courses corresponding to the level. There will also be a new cohort of this beginner course. The new courses will always begin two weeks after the previous course's last session.
