About the Show:

After losing a lung to cancer and surviving chemotherapy, Terence Hartnett thought he would never run the way he used to. Turns out, he was right – but that’s OK.

In One Lung Marathon, Hartnett shares his story of coming back from the brink of death, having learned very little – and making that fact very funny. From skewering smokers, poking fun at Austrians, and ridiculing the people who jog in place at stop lights, to insights about cultural differences, post-cancer gratitude, and the embarrassing desire for accomplishment, this show is as silly as it is moving.

About Terence Hartnett

Terence Hartnett is a New York–based comedian, cancer survivor, and rising international performer. He is a regular at Caroline’s on Broadway, a 2022 NY Comedy Festival Comics to Watch selection, and winner of the 2024 European Comedy Award for Best Show.

His previous solo show was named a “Highly Recommended Show” by Fringe Review and even written up in The Lancet, one of the world’s leading medical journals:
