Austria is one of the richest countries in the world.

Vienna regularly ranks first among the most livable cities in the world.

Nevertheless, there is a dark side of Vienna - homelessness and drug addiction. As with any other city, Vienna is not perfect, and you can have a glimpse into it.

Nina was homeless for 10 years and addicted to heroin. She tells us her tough story and how she managed to get back on her feet and get clean.

The job as a tour guide has helped Nina to get back into professional life. Today, she wants to inform the society about homelessness with these tours and she earns her living with it today. These tours are very moving and extraordinary. Learn to dismantle biases and gain a better understanding of the issues it is not spoken much about.

We will meet at 3.00 p.m. at the main entrance door of the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) in Vienna and will be guided through the city by Nina. She will show us emergency shelters and health centers for homeless people, the Aids House, the drug advise center and the day center for young and homeless adults and will tell us about her life without home and heavily addicted to Heroin. A tour you will not forget!
