Impact Hub Vienna

What becomes possible when we leave our devices behind?
Join us for an offline salon shaped by conversation, presence, and connection.

We’re all competing for attention—ours. Each other’s. Everyone’s. Notifications, messages, content, AI, algorithms—constantly pulling us in different directions. But what happenswhen we step out of that for a few hours? And more importantly—what do we want to hold on to, as our attention —and the waywe live, work, think, and connect—are increasingly shaped by the rapidly evolvingsystems around us? The dis/connect/ed salon is a space to slow down,to think out loud, and to meet others—with more space, attention, and curiosity. This is not a networking event. There are no panels or presentations. The evening unfolds through a series of simple, intentional moments:

Arrival & transition A gradual shift into the dis/connect/ed space, with tea, wine, and light refreshments

The Encounter Space A shared experience where we reflect on what we are seeking, offering, exploring, or building—and discover others through resonance rather than introduction

Salon conversations Small-group exchanges around thoughtful prompts, with the option to move between groups or stay

This is an offline experience.Phones are set aside.Nothing is recorded.(Optional instant photos may be taken—only if you choose.) Why join

You’re looking for conversations that go beyond the surface

You’re building, questioning, or exploring something and want to meet others doing the same

You’re curious what shifts when attention is no longer fragmented

You want to experience a different kind of gathering—one grounded in presence

For a few hours, step out of the noise.dis/connect—to connect differently. A dis/connect/ed initiative, in collaboration with Impact Hub Vienna.Tea and matcha for the evening are kindly provided by Honeymoon Salon de Thé. Data Protection and audiovisual recordings/photographyWe typically create photos at events we host.
