The Negotiation Architect™ | 6-Week Negotiation Program in Vienna
A six-week program for professionals and entrepreneurs who regularly negotiate commercial or organizational agreements
Negotiation is one of the most consequential and frequently underdeveloped skills in professional life.
A signed contract tells you that you reached an agreement. It does not tell you whether you prepared the right alternatives, set an appropriate target, uncovered enough information, created the available value, or conceded more than necessary.
Negotiation experience does not automatically become negotiation expertise. Most professionals negotiate regularly but receive little structured feedback on the decisions that produced the outcome.
The Negotiation Architect™ is a six-week, practice-focused program for professionals and entrepreneurs who want to replace improvisation with a systematic process. Through six realistic simulated negotiations, behavioral feedback, structured preparation, and application to your own negotiations, you learn to diagnose the situation, make deliberate strategic choices, and review your performance systematically.
What you will develop
By the end of the program, you will be better equipped to:
- prepare negotiations using explicit alternatives, targets, limits, and counterpart hypotheses
- make and respond to opening offers deliberately
- claim value through calibrated proposals and disciplined concessions
- uncover interests and build value-creating packages
- manage difficult interactions without becoming unnecessarily accommodating or aggressive
- assess power, dependency, time pressure, and implementation risks
- make disciplined decisions about whether to agree, continue negotiating, or walk away
Who the program is for
This is neither a beginner-only introduction nor a collection of advanced tactics. It is a structured program that follows a 6-week development cycle and covers the entire negotiation process. From preparation and value creation to power, relationships, and implementation.
The program is designed for professionals who already negotiate as part of their work and want to make their approach more systematic.
It is particularly relevant for:
- SME owners and founders
- consultants
- account managers
- business-development professionals
- sales and partnership professionals
- people managers
- professionals negotiating prices, scope, contracts, budgets, resources, projects, or long-term cooperation
No formal negotiation training is required. Experienced negotiators benefit from the opportunity to test established habits, receive behavioral feedback, and practise difficult decisions without commercial risk.
Participants should bring at least one current professional negotiation that they can prepare and review during the program.
How the program works
Every week combines focused input, targeted practice, a realistic negotiation simulation, structured feedback, immediate refinement, and application to a current professional negotiation.
The program includes:
- six three-hour, in-person Negotiation Labs
- six 60-minute online Group Case Clinics
- six realistic negotiation simulations
- four multiple-choice Knowledge Assessments
- two professional Field Assignments
- one 30-minute Individual Development Review
- one online 30-day group follow-up
- course materials and preparation templates
The cohort is limited to twelve participants so that simulations, feedback, and case discussions remain specific and useful.

Investment and registration
Program fee: €950
VAT is not applicable.
On an annual client contract worth €60,000, avoiding an unnecessary three-percentage-point discount preserves €1,800. About twice the investment. On a 50-day consulting engagement, negotiating a daily rate that is just €20 higher creates €1,000 in additional revenue. Already exceeding the program investment.
The precise effect of training will vary. However, for professionals who regularly negotiate consequential commercial terms, one well-prepared decision can exceed the program investment.
