What if the Arbitrator is replaced by AI? (in person)

Generative AI is challenging long-standing concepts of legal education and dispute resolution, and equally promises unknown potentials. At the Vis Moot, we acknowledge this ambiguity and continue our mission in legal education with a unique series of Events. Jointly with the CIArb (Brazilian Branch) and others, we will explore how ChatGPT would act as an Arbitrator in relation to a Vis Moot Problem. After a short technical briefing, two AI Arbitrators and one human Chairperson will hear the arguments of human teams, ask questions and assess them.
