WINTER SOLSTICE Yin Yoga Workshop

WINTER SOLSTICE Yin Yoga Workshop

By Orsi from PsyCare

Overview

We come together to honor the stillness of the season through Yin Yoga, guided breathwork (Pranayama), and meditation (Yoga Nidra).

On the 21st of December, Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the turning point toward the return of light. It is a natural moment to pause, reflect, and restore. In this extended workshop, we will come together to honor the stillness of the season through Yin Yoga, guided breathwork (Pranayama), and meditation (Yoga Nidra).

Yin Yoga invites us to settle in postures for several minutes, softening into stillness and working gently with the deeper layers of fascia, joints, and subtle energy pathways. In this practice, effort gives way to receptivity, cultivating qualities of patience, introspection, and balance that resonate with the season.

Alongside the physical practice, we will spend time with pranayama — conscious breathing techniques that calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and shift our inner state. You’ll be guided through different exercises and have space to explore and refine the one that resonates most with you, so it can become a trusted companion in your personal practice.

We will close with Yoga Nidra, a guided deep relaxation often called “yogic sleep.” This restful state allows the body to recharge, the mind to settle, and the subconscious to integrate.

Open to all levels - this workshop is an invitation to mark the turning of the seasons by reconnecting with yourself.

The workshop will be in English.
