Nature in the City Walks

The Green Hairstreak Corridor is a wildlife corridor made up of stepping stone habitats restored and maintained by Nature in the City in collaboration with community stewards, volunteers, and the Department of Public Works Street Parks Program.

Nature in the City is helping transform four SFUSD school sites into green schoolyards full of biodiversity, native plants, and new outdoor classrooms. Join us in volunteer stewardship work and data tracking through community bioblitz'.

Nature in the City collects seeds with local genetics to reproduce in our native plant nursery at McAteer Campus Community Farm. Check out one of our upcoming workdays!
