Month of Love 2024

Discover one of the most talked about holiday experiences usually only available when flying off to far-flung lands across international borders. Nestled amid white-sand beaches and expansive tropical gardens, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas is Australia's most iconic beachfront resort. Take advantage of our location near two UNESCO World Heritage sites — the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest and enjoy intimate access to some of Tropical North Queensland's most popular attractions. Relax in our serenely styled guest rooms, suites and villas, some of which provide direct access to our saltwater lagoon pools. An inimitable destination for dining in Port Douglas, we offer seven sumptuous choices of restaurants and bars including Harrisons, the most nationally awarded restaurants in the region and the new poolside Lagoon House Restaurant which is building a reputation for serving fresh local seafood and Asian-inspired fare made to share under the stars. The history of this part of the country is entrenched in the story of sugar and the industry’s influence remains evident in our local cane fields. Although it has developed and changed over time, sugar is still at the heart of the region. Guests, locals and visitors are invited to join our Italian shared feast that pays homage to the Cane Cutters from Italy who arrived in the region over 100 years ago and their descendants who still farm the land today. Or, raise a glass to the past and take a sugar cane rum masterclass where you will taste two of the World’s Best Pot Still Rum (5 years & under and 10 years & under), plus much more! You are also invited to spend a laidback Sunday sunset with cool drinks, Mediterranean bites and classic Ibiza chill-out tunes as you float in our sparkling blue saltwater lagoons or settle onto the sandy shore of the resort’s main beach.
