Intession Music Tech (IMT) Academy provides an affordable alternative to traditional college music production and audio engineering programs, with an emphasis on real-time, hands-on training from industry professionals, ongoing mentorship, and community building.
Our mission is to give musicians, artists, and producers the best opportunity possible to earn a living in the music business. IMT is actively involved in developing and growing the Metro Vancouver music community through workshops, events, classes, and collaborative learning experiences.
IMT teaches a structured, system-based approach to learning music production, focusing on the process behind how to learn the craft, not just the tools. Students learn how to master the workflow and mindset needed for long-term creative and professional growth.
