McKowski Cafe @ The Harrison Hotel
Welcome to McKowski Cafe, a weekly happening taking place each Thursday, where you get the chance to see your favourite artists in the very intimate setting of the speakeasy bar of the Harrison Hotel. Each night is curated by Mark McKowksi, introducing a special musical guest for a live performance in The Live Lounge, with table service and candlelight vibes, followed by vinyl listening in the speakeasy bar for those who wish to stay for a late drink. Music begins at 8pm but feel free to arrive early for pre-drinks in the speakeasy bar. Tickets are limited and are £15 per show (plus booking fee). Special combo offers available for a room and ticket for those wishing to stay the night. Also season tickets available for £100 so you can attend every show this season.
Mark McCausland is an Irish songwriter/producer/musician known for his work as one half of The Lost Brothers. He also produces his own solo material under the name McKowski and collaborates with an eclectic variety of artists – (Nick Power of The Coral, Jolie Holland) - as well as a super-trio along with M Ward & Howe Gelb, (collectively known as Geckøs). More recently, one of his short stories got turned into a feature film, The Spin, which he also composed the musical score for. He continues to work from his home studio on the outskirts of Omagh, the town that he’s been trying to escape since birth.
