I’m Ivette Torres, an Oakland based event consultant who partners with nonprofits to create events that engage donors, strengthen relationships, and bring organizational visions to life.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve held leadership roles with organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership, as well as senior positions in higher education and nonprofit associations. I’ve been on the inside, managing limited budgets, balancing competing priorities, and doing more with less.
Today, I focus on consulting for nonprofits that need experienced support without adding full time staff. My work centers on saving organizations money, strengthening planning processes, and helping teams make the most of the resources they already have. From budgeting and logistics to vendor negotiations and execution, I bring calm, clarity, and experience to the table.
Born and raised in the Bay Area and proud to live in Oakland, I care deeply about this community and the organizations that serve it. My goal is to be a trusted partner who makes events feel manageable and successful.
