The Manitoba Basketball African Association (MBAA) is dedicated to activating, connecting, and empowering the African community through basketball. Our mission is to use the power of sport as a tool for youth development, cultural unity, and community advancement.
Through basketball, we create inclusive programs that foster leadership, discipline, and teamwork while promoting physical and mental well-being. Beyond the court, MBAA serves as a bridge that connects African youth and families to mentorship, education, and social opportunities that strengthen community bonds and build pathways for long-term success.
Our vision is a thriving, engaged African community in Manitoba where every individual—especially youth—has access to the resources, networks, and role models they need to grow, lead, and make a positive impact.
