About Me...

I have always been a "closeted" creative, so after a successful 30-year career in the financial services industry, I have reinvented myself as a creative artist that wears many hats. My artist’s mission is to encourage, inspire, and leave audiences with a portfolio of well-defined calls-to-actions by incorporating elements of adult-learning theory, based in large part to the Masters in Adult Education & Training I earned.

I am engaging and thought-provoking in my approach to storytelling. My experiences while coming of age in Harlem give me the depth and breadth of life-experiences necessary to be both authentic and impactful. These attributes are evident in my debut stage play, Stuff Inside My Head – a play that addresses and confronts the stigmas that continue to plague Men of Color and their mental health. Stuff Inside My Head was a participating play at the 2022 National Black Theatre Festival.

My writing is dynamic and fluid and leaves space for current societal issues to be addressed on stage. In addition, two monologues from Stuff Inside My Head have been recognized for inclusion in national monologue shows. Most recently, The Epilogue – the fourth, and final act from this culturally significant play, was selected for inclusion in the July 2025 2nd Annual Black Men’s Play Festival held in Chicago.

I have also recently launched a monologue series entitled, “Let’s Talk About It.” This three-tiered event incorporates trauma-centric monologues, audience engagement, and input from mental health panel participants with the objective of persuading attendees to take inventory of their mental health. All the work I engage in is about making a difference in the mental health space and reminding all of that, “we are not alone?”
