Naia Matteson

My name is Shanai, but my close friends & family call me Naia. I’m a working artist, an educator, a community organizer, and a single mother of two young children. We live in the rural Minnesota community where I grew-up, near the town of Palisade, in Aitkin County. Making things, spending time in nature, and teaching art and community organizing skills are all passions of mine.
