Ponto (Grassroots Think Tank for European and Foreign Policy) generates independent, high quality recommendations for foreign policy decision makers and the public, thereby bridging the gap between academia and politics. It's non-partisan approach aims to promote an open dialogue and informed decision-making on all aspects of Austrian foreign policy. Ponto is based in Vienna; a city known as a melting pot of cultures and its position as a mediator between the «West» and the «East», Vienna as a hub for global politics and last but not least a place of conflunece, where all the challenges in Austria's national political sphere are challenged. Our success as a think tank is based on its members’ voluntary commitment.
