Veranstalter von Access Media
Disabled Women Ireland (DWI) is a national Disabled Persons Organisation (DPO) that advocates for the rights of self-identified women, girls, and non-binary/gender non-conforming people with disabilities in Ireland. It is led and governed by disabled people and works from an intersectional feminist perspective, recognising the overlapping impacts of gender, disability, and other forms of marginalisation. DWI aims to promote full participation in social, economic, political, and cultural life, while challenging barriers, inequality, and ableism. The organisation also works to build a strong national network of disabled women and allies, and to influence policy and social change through advocacy, awareness-raising, and community-led action.
