Our mission is to create an adaptive watersports community of support and friendship among veterans, differently-abled adults and children, family members, and volunteers to empower, inspire, and enrich the lives of everyone involved.

Join us for a FREE fun day on the water with friends and family! The Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation is hosting the SmileS Adaptive Carnival for the third year in a row to bring watersports to differently-abled people of all ages and walks of life as well as their families. The carnival is held in honor of two amazing women who left this world too young. In their honor, we want to offer a community of unconditional love and support. There will be adaptive waterskiing, tubing, pontoon rides, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fun outdoor games! Back this year, we are partnering with Therapeutic Adventures - IndependencePlus Adaptive Sports to bring adaptive paddling! 
Bring your friends and family and share a great day with a great community. Lunch, snacks, and water will also be provided for free throughout the day! All participants will receive a FREE t-shirt. This means that regular registration will close 2 weeks prior to the event to ensure T-shirt delivery. Participants may register after regular registration closes as late registrants, but they cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Note: All activities are open to participants and their friends and families, however participants will have priority for adaptive waterskiing.

The Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation is hosting the SmileS Adaptive Carnival for the second year in a row to bring watersports to differently-abled people of all ages and walks of life as well as their families. New this year, we are partnering with Therapeutic Adventures - IndependencePlus Adaptive Sports to bring adaptive paddling as well!
