Wild Food Foraging Courses
Foray exists to reconnect people with the landscapes that sustain us.
Foraging is more than finding food. It is about paying attention, understanding ecosystems, and moving through the world with care. At Foray, we teach seasonal foraging as a practical skill, a cultural tradition, and a way of slowing down.
Foray runs seasonal foraging courses and retreats throughout the year, guiding people through wild plants, edible and medicinal fungi, and shoreline seaweeds and coastal plants.
With a particular focus on fungi, Foray combines careful identification, ethical foraging principles, and practical skills such as cooking, drying, and preservation. Courses are shaped by season and place, moving through woodlands, hedgerows, and shorelines, and often finishing with shared food and conversation.
Foray is about slowing down, learning properly, and reconnecting with the natural world — gathering food, knowledge, and calm.
