Blessings in a Back Pack/Huron Valley-HV Optimists
As hard as this is to believe, there are 2,800 children in your community who may go without food from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. This is a unique opportunity for you to rescue these children. Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit 501 (c) (3), will be able to feed one child every weekend for an entire school year for your donation of $150. Volunteers perform all the work that needs to be done. 100% of your donation goes to a hungry child or children. Because hunger doesn’t take a break on the weekend, these children depend on Blessings in a Backpack and we in turn depend on donations. It has been said, “Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you”. And I believe that, but I also believe that charitable works should be acknowledged. All donors will be acknowledged in print and/or media, as well as a window decal identifying your company as a community leader making sure no child in our community goes hungry.
