Andrew C Wood

Andrew is a mediator, conciliator, & learning designer. He hosts TalkAbouts from Post-Law Peacemaking—a series of practical, conversational learning sessions exploring how conflict, harm, and responsibility are navigated within contemporary systems of governance.

The TalkAbouts bring together black-letter law, conflict analysis, ethical leadership, and dispute resolution practice. They are designed for lawyers and non-lawyers alike, particularly those working as professional and lay advocates, public purpose stewards, governance professionals, and decision-makers who encounter administrative harm and institutional conflict.

Rather than focusing only on remedies or compliance, the series examines the anatomy of conflict: how harm arises, how systems respond, and how language, process, and pathway choices shape outcomes for people and institutions. Sessions emphasise disciplined vocabulary, responsible practice, and care-aware engagement—without losing sight of lived experience.

The Post-Law Peacemaking frame reflects a commitment to moving beyond adversarial reflexes toward approaches that combine legal literacy with ethical judgment, structured negotiation, and relational repair. Each TalkAbout stands alone, while also forming part of a broader learning scaffold across administrative law, ethical leadership, and dispute resolution.
